If you are looking for Réseau Santé’s new online directory of French-speaking health care professionals, you can find it here.
Réseau Santé – Nouvelle-Écosse is proud to announce the publication of a directory of health care providers in central Nova Scotia who can serve patients and clients in French.
The directory is available free-of-charge in an electronic format on Réseau Santé’s website and as a printed booklet. It includes health care professionals working in a wide range of fields in communities in the Halifax area, the Annapolis Valley, the Bridgewater area and in Truro, including dentists, osteopaths, psychologists, family doctors, pharmacists, optometrists and chiropractors, among others.
The publication of the directory was requested by Réseau Santé’s committee for central Nova Scotia, to meet a need among members of the Acadian and francophone community in the region to be able to easily find health care providers who can offer services in French.
“We hope that more Acadians and Francophones living in central Nova Scotia will be able to get health care services in French thanks to this directory,” said Gisèle Thibodeau, president of Réseau Santé. “We encourage health care professionals who speak French who are not on directory to contact us to add their name,” added Marilyne Gagnon, chair of Réseau Santé’s regional committee for central Nova Scotia.
The directory can be consulted online at www.reseausantene.ca/publications. Printed copies can be ordered free-of-charge by contacting Réseau Santé at reseau@reseausantene.ca or 902-222-5871.
