Réseau Santé – Nouvelle-Écosse is seeking to identify health care professionals in the Halifax area who speak French and who would like to add their name to a directory of health care providers. The directory will allow members of the Acadian and francophone community to quickly find health care professionals that meet their needs. Réseau Santé is looking for health care professionals working in various areas of health care to be included in the directory, such as physiotherapists, medical doctors, psychologists, and naturopaths, among others.
“Réseau Santé regularly receives requests from members of the Halifax community who are looking for health care professionals who can serve them in French. This directory will fulfil this need by connecting patients and health care professionals” said Paul d’Entremont, president of Réseau Santé – Nouvelle-Écosse.
In addition to the directory, Réseau Santé can offer a number of benefits and resources for health care professionals, including:
• networking opportunities with other health care professionals and stakeholders
• tools to better serve patients and clients in French
• information on professional development training and conferences offered by its partners
• promotion of the services they offer to the community
