Réseau Santé is launching the Bonjour-Hello logo, which allows people working in the health field to inform their patients/clients that they can serve them in French. A number of tools bearing the logo, including pins, posters, stickers for windows, desktop signs and small stickers, among others, are available free-of-charge.
People working in a range of facilities in the health field as well as homecare agencies can take advantage of the program, including dentists, osteopaths, employees in nursing homes, receptionists, psychologists, family doctors, nurses, pharmacists, optometrists and chiropractors, among others.
It is the first visual mark of this kind in Nova Scotia that targets workers in the health field outside of the Nova Scotia Health Authority and the IWK Health Centre, who make use of the Government of Nova Scotia’s Bonjour! program, managed by the Office of Acadian Affairs and Francophonie.
“This tools will facilitate access to health services in French for Acadian and francophone Nova Scotians and will make them more comfortable in requesting services in French in these facilities,” said Gisèle Thibodeau, president of Réseau Santé. “We encourage people working in the health field in Nova Scotia who speak French to display the Bonjour-Hello logo in their workplace.”
The Bonjour-Hello tools can be ordered free-of-charge by people working in the health field by contacting the regional coordinator at Réseau Santé who is responsible for their region of Nova Scotia, at the contact details listed on https://reseausantene.ca/team.
